Pizza is pretty much my favorite food ever.

Comfort food, those vittles that are guaranteed to make you feel good no matter how shitty this world may be, or the fact that you car just got buried on the street by a spiteful snow plower.

The moment syrah and grenache meet up in a barrel somewhere in southern rhone, an angel gets it’s wings. I’m a sucker for the smoky-bbq goodness. Plus they go great with piza.

Zinfandel of any sort. It’s so yummy. Shiraz sometimes, but only the good stuff, so I must be REALLY bleak to spend that kinda money!

I’m with you, Sam. Syrah, Grenache, Mouvedre is a magically, comforting blend for me. Also, I am a recovering Paso Roble Zin addict so it fits the bill of ‘comfort wine.’ (BTW – love the topic!)
